Carob Brownies - Carob has a rich, roasty flavor that's similar to chocolate
1/3 c melted Butter
1/3 c Carob Powder
1/2-1 cup Raw Sugar
2 Eggs
1/2 c Whole Wheat Flour
1/4 c Wheat Germ
1/2-1 Nut Pieces
1 tsp Vanilla
1/2 tsp Salt
Stir all ingredients together and bake at 325 degrees for about 30 minutes.
Carob powder is higher in carbohydrates and natural sweetness and lower in fat than cacao and cocoa powder, and contains more fiber.
