Creamy Beef and Cheddar Pasta
Recipe:
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
2 cups cavatappi or elbow pasta
1 small onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup beef broth
1 cup milk or heavy cream
1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 tbsp flour
2 tbsp butter
Salt and pepper to taste
½ tsp paprika
¼ tsp dried parsley (for garnish)
Instructions:
Cook pasta according to package directions; drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, brown the ground beef with onion and garlic until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
Stir in butter and flour, cooking for 1 minute to make a roux.
Gradually whisk in milk and beef broth until smooth and thickened.
Add cheddar cheese and stir until melted into a creamy sauce.
Add cooked pasta and toss until well-coated.
Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
Garnish with extra shredded cheese and parsley before serving.
