Garlic Butter Steak Tips with Rigatoni in Creamy Parmesan Alfredo Sauce
Ingredients:
1½ lbs sirloin steak tips, cut into bite-sized pieces
1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon smoked paprika
½ teaspoon black pepper
Salt, to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
4 cloves garlic, minced
12 oz rigatoni pasta
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup low-sodium beef broth
4 oz cream cheese, softened and cubed
¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Directions:
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the rigatoni and cook until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. Pat the steak tips dry with paper towels. Season them with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt. Toss until the steak is evenly coated.
3. Heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steak tips in a single layer. Sear for 2–3 minutes per side until golden-brown and caramelized on the outside but still tender inside. Remove from the pan and set aside.
4. Lower the heat to medium and add the remaining tablespoon of butter to the skillet. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
5. Pour in the beef broth, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan. Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
6. Add the cream cheese and stir until melted and smooth. Gradually whisk in the Parmesan and mozzarella until the sauce becomes thick, creamy, and glossy.
7. Sprinkle in Italian seasoning and adjust salt and pepper to taste. Let the sauce simmer on low for 2 minutes until fully combined.
8. Add the cooked rigatoni to the sauce and toss gently to coat each piece in the creamy Alfredo. Let it rest for a minute on low heat to absorb the flavor.
9. Serve the rigatoni on one side of the plate and the garlic butter steak tips on the other. Spoon extra sauce over the steak for a rich, savory finish.
10. Garnish with chopped parsley and a sprinkle of Parmesan before serving warm.
