🍬 Calissons d’Aix 🍈🍬
Traditional almond and candied fruit sweets from Provence.
Ingredients:
• 200 g ground almonds
• 100 g candied melon
• 100 g candied orange peel
• 200 g icing sugar
• 2 tbsp orange blossom water
• 1 sheet of wafer paper
• 1 egg white
Instructions:
1️⃣ Blend almonds with candied fruits until smooth paste.
2️⃣ Add orange blossom water.
3️⃣ Spread mixture onto wafer paper.
4️⃣ Cut into almond-shaped pieces.
5️⃣ Mix icing sugar with egg white for glaze, spread on top.
6️⃣ Let dry before serving.
