🍍 Dole Pineapple Whip 🍦
Ingredients
2 cups frozen pineapple chunks
¾ cup (1 large scoop) vanilla ice cream
4 ounces (½ cup) pineapple juice
2 tablespoons granulated sugar (optional, depending on pineapple sweetness)
1 small splash of fresh lemon juice (about ½ teaspoon)
A pinch of fine sea salt
Instructions
Blend Until Smooth: In a high-powered blender, add the frozen pineapple, vanilla ice cream, pineapple juice, sugar (if using), lemon juice, and salt. Blend on high for 2–3 minutes, stopping to scrape down the sides as needed, until the mixture is ultra-creamy and resembles soft-serve ice cream.
Serve Immediately or Swirl: For a classic Dole Whip experience, transfer the mixture to a freezer-safe container and chill for 30–40 minutes to firm slightly. Then, spoon it into a piping bag fitted with a large star tip (such as a 1M) and swirl into chilled dessert cups.
Optional Final Freeze: For a firmer texture that holds its shape longer, place the swirled cups back in the freezer for 15–20 minutes before serving.
Enjoy: Serve as-is, or transform it into a Dole Whip Float by pouring pineapple juice into a glass, topping with a swirl of soft serve, and garnishing with a maraschino cherry.
