Air Fryer Garlic Butter Steak Bites and Potatoes
Ingredients:
1 lb sirloin steak cut into 1-inch cubes
1 lb baby potatoes, halved
2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions:
1. Begin by preheating your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). This step is crucial for that perfect crunchy texture on both the steak bites and the potatoes.
2. In a large bowl, toss the sirloin steak cubes with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper, ensuring each piece is well coated in flavor.
3. In a separate bowl, prepare the baby potatoes. Drizzle them with half of the melted butter and season with salt and pepper. Toss until each potato is thoroughly coated.
4. Once the air fryer is preheated, place the seasoned steak cubes in the basket in a single layer, avoiding overcrowding. Air fry them for about 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking.
5. At around the 8-minute mark, add the seasoned baby potatoes to the air fryer basket with the steak. Continue to cook both for an additional 10-12 minutes, or until the steak reaches your desired doneness and the potatoes are golden brown and crispy.
6. When cooking is complete, drizzle the remaining melted butter over the steak and potatoes. Gently toss everything together so that the rich, buttery flavor envelops every bite.
7. Serve the dish immediately, garnished with fresh chopped parsley for a vibrant touch and an added flavor burst!
