Snickerdoodle Banana Bread
Ingredients:
3 ripe bananas, mashed
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp ground cinnamon
For the topping:
2 tbsp granulated sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
In a large bowl, whisk together mashed bananas, melted butter, sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
Gradually add dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
In a small bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon for topping. Sprinkle evenly over the batter.
Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
