🍑 Peach Butter Swim Biscuits
Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tbsp baking powder
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups buttermilk
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/2 cup peach preserves or jam
Instructions:
1️⃣ Preheat Oven:
Preheat oven to 450°F (232°C). Lightly grease an 8x8-inch baking dish.
2️⃣ Make Biscuit Dough:
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
Pour in the buttermilk and stir just until combined (do not overmix).
3️⃣ Add Butter to Pan:
Pour the melted butter into the prepared baking dish.
4️⃣ Add Dough:
Spoon the biscuit dough on top of the melted butter and gently spread it out evenly.
5️⃣ Add Peach Preserves:
Drop spoonfuls of peach preserves evenly over the dough. Use a knife to swirl slightly into the top.
6️⃣ Bake:
Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
7️⃣ Cool and Serve:
Let cool slightly before cutting into squares. Serve warm.
