Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour π₯£
1/2 cup panko bread crumbs π
1 lb mozzarella cheese, cut into 1-inch cubes π§
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder π§
1/4 teaspoon salt π§
1/4 teaspoon black pepper πΆοΈ
2 eggs, beaten π₯
1/4 cup milk π₯
Oil for frying π’οΈ
1 jar (15 oz) marinara sauce π
1/2 cup mayonnaise π₯«
1/4 cup sour cream πΆ
1 tablespoon chopped parsley πΏ
1 tablespoon lemon juice π
1 clove garlic, minced π§
Directions:
1. Start by whisking together the flour, panko bread crumbs, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper in a shallow dish. This will be your flavorful coating!
2. In another bowl, whisk the eggs and milk together until well combined. This will help the coating stick to your mozzarella.
3. Time to dip! Take each mozzarella cube and first dip it into the egg mixture, then dredge it in the flour mixture until itβs fully coated. Go ahead and repeat this step for a thicker crust if thatβs your vibe!
4. Heat up some oil in a skillet over medium heat. Get that oil hot and ready for frying!
5. Fry those mozzarella cubes for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and deliciously melted inside.
6. Once fried, transfer the sticks to a paper towel-lined plate to drain off any excess oil β we want them crispy, not oily!
7. In a small bowl, give a quick whisk to the mayonnaise, sour cream, parsley, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper until smooth. This creamy dip is going to be amazing!
