Pickle Bloody Mary Shot – A Mini Savory Delight

Ingredients:

For the Bloody Mary mix:

1 ½ cups tomato juice
2 tablespoons pickle juice (from dill pickles)
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon hot sauce (like Tabasco, adjust to taste)
¼ teaspoon celery salt
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon smoked paprika
Black pepper, to taste
For the alcohol (optional):

1 cup vodka (or substitute with more tomato juice for a mocktail version)
For garnish:

Dill pickle spears or slices
Cherry tomatoes
Celery leaves or small celery sticks
Lemon wedges
Optional: Mini skewers for garnish
Directions:

Make the Bloody Mary mix: In a pitcher or large bowl, whisk together the tomato juice, pickle juice, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, celery salt, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper. Taste and adjust seasoning as desired. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes for the flavors to meld.

Add vodka (optional): If using alcohol, stir the vodka into the Bloody Mary mix just before serving.

Prepare shot glasses: Rim your shot glasses with celery salt or smoked paprika by running a lemon wedge along the rims, then dipping them into the seasoning.

Assemble the shots: Pour the Bloody Mary mix into the prepared shot glasses, filling them about 3/4 of the way.

Garnish and serve: Garnish each shot with a mini skewer holding a cherry tomato and a pickle slice, or simply place a small pickle spear and a celery stick directly in the glass. Serve immediately and enjoy the savory goodness!
