Tuna Melt
Ingredients:
2 cans (5 oz each) tuna, drained
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1/4 cup celery, finely chopped
2 tbsp red onion, finely chopped
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
4 slices bread (sourdough, rye, or your choice)
4 slices cheddar or Swiss cheese
2 tbsp butter, softened
Instructions:
In a bowl, mix tuna, mayonnaise, mustard, celery, red onion, salt, and pepper.
Spread tuna mixture evenly over two slices of bread.
Place a slice of cheese on top of the tuna mixture, then cover with the remaining bread slices.
Spread butter on the outside of each sandwich.
Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook sandwiches for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and cheese is melted.
Serve warm and enjoy!
