This Cherry Pineapple Dump Cake was my lazy genius moment—five minutes of prep, and everyone thought I baked for hours 😍🍒 It's sweet, gooey, and crunchy all in one bite. A total potluck MVP!
Ingredients:
1 (20 oz) can crushed pineapple, undrained
1 (21 oz) can cherry pie filling
1 box yellow cake mix
3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
Optional: chopped pecans or walnuts for topping (about 1/2 cup)
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a 9x13-inch baking dish, dump in the crushed pineapple (juice and all), spreading it evenly.
Spoon the cherry pie filling on top of the pineapple—no need to mix!
Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the fruit layer.
Drizzle melted butter all over the cake mix, making sure to cover as much as possible.
If using, sprinkle nuts over the top.
Bake for 45–50 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly. Let cool slightly before serving.
