Biscuits and Sausage Gravy Breakfast Pizza
Ingredients:
1 can refrigerated biscuit dough
1/2 pound breakfast sausage
1/4 cup flour
2 cups milk
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
4 large eggs
1 tablespoon butter
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Spread the biscuit dough out on a pizza pan to form the crust.
3. In a skillet, cook the breakfast sausage over medium heat until browned. Remove sausage and set aside, leaving the drippings in the skillet.
4. Add flour to the drippings and whisk until combined. Gradually add milk, whisking continuously until the gravy thickens. Season with salt and pepper.
5. Spread the sausage gravy over the biscuit crust.
6. Sprinkle cooked sausage and shredded cheddar cheese over the gravy.
7. In a separate skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Scramble the eggs until just set, then spread over the cheese.
8. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
9. Cut into slices and serve hot.
