Homemade Fudgesicles
Ingredients:
2 cups whole milk
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions:
In a medium saucepan, whisk together the sugar, cocoa powder, cornstarch, and salt.
Gradually whisk in the milk and cream until smooth.
Place over medium heat and cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and begins to bubble, about 5-7 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
Let the mixture cool slightly, then pour into popsicle molds.
Insert sticks and freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight until fully set.
To release, briefly run the molds under warm water and gently pull the fudgesicles out.
