🦀🍤 Creamy Crab and Shrimp Seafood Bisque 🍲

Ingredients:
1/2 lb shrimp, peeled, deveined & chopped
1/2 lb lump crab meat
4 tablespoons butter
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 cups seafood or chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup whole milk
1/2 cup dry white wine (optional)
1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
Salt & pepper to taste
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Directions:
Sauté the aromatics – In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add chopped onion and garlic, cooking until soft.
Make the roux – Stir in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes until slightly golden.
Add liquids – Slowly whisk in broth, milk, heavy cream, and white wine. Stir in tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay, paprika, cayenne, salt, and pepper.
Simmer – Let the soup cook on low heat for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Cook seafood – Add shrimp and crab meat, letting them simmer for about 5 minutes until the shrimp is pink and cooked through.
Finish & serve – Stir in Parmesan cheese, adjust seasoning if needed, and serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
