Velveeta Beef and Bowtie Pasta in Creamy Italian Sauce

Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef
12 oz bowtie pasta
1 (14.5 oz) jar marinara sauce
1 (8 oz) block Velveeta cheese, cubed
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Fresh basil, chopped (for garnish)

Directions:

Cook the bowtie pasta according to the package instructions. Once it’s done, drain the pasta and set it aside.
Heat a bit of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and break it apart as it cooks. Season with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder. Continue cooking until the beef is fully browned and cooked through.
Stir in the marinara sauce and bring the mixture to a simmer. Add the cubed Velveeta cheese and stir until the cheese has fully melted, making the sauce creamy and smooth.
Add the cooked bowtie pasta to the skillet and toss it gently to coat each piece in the creamy sauce.
Sprinkle in the shredded mozzarella cheese, stirring until it melts and blends into the pasta.
For an extra pop of flavor, garnish with grated Parmesan cheese (optional) and fresh chopped basil before serving.
