Garlic Butter Steak Bites & Mash 🥩🧈
Juicy, tender, and drenched in garlicky goodness!
📝 Ingredients:
For the Steak Bites:
1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into cubes
Salt & black pepper, to taste
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp fresh parsley, chopped
Optional: red pepper flakes for heat
For the Mashed Potatoes:
2 lbs russet potatoes, peeled & cubed
4 tbsp butter
1/2 cup milk (or heavy cream for richer flavor)
Salt & pepper, to taste
Optional: garlic powder or roasted garlic for added flavor
🍽️ Directions:
1️⃣ Boil the Potatoes:
Boil potatoes in salted water for 15–20 minutes or until fork-tender. Drain and mash with butter and milk. Season to taste and set aside.
2️⃣ Sear the Steak Bites:
Pat steak cubes dry and season generously with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a hot skillet and sear steak bites for 2–3 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.
3️⃣ Make Garlic Butter Sauce:
In the same skillet, reduce heat and melt butter. Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
4️⃣ Coat & Toss:
Return steak bites to the skillet and toss in garlic butter. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and red pepper flakes if desired.
5️⃣ Plate and Serve:
Spoon mashed potatoes onto a plate and top with juicy steak bites and a drizzle of the garlic butter sauce.
