🥣🥬 Hearty Cabbage Soup with Ground Beef 🍅🍖
Ingredients:
1 lb (450g) ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
4 cups chopped green cabbage
2 carrots, sliced
2 stalks celery, chopped
1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
4 cups beef broth
1 tbsp tomato paste
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp dried oregano
½ tsp thyme
Salt & pepper to taste
Optional: red pepper flakes for a little kick
👩🍳 Directions:
Brown the Beef:
In a large pot, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
Add Aromatics:
Stir in onion and garlic. Cook for 2–3 minutes until fragrant.
Add Veggies & Broth:
Toss in cabbage, carrots, celery, diced tomatoes, tomato paste, and beef broth.
Season & Simmer:
Add paprika, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper. Stir well. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 25–30 minutes, until veggies are tender and flavors are blended.
Serve Warm:
Ladle into bowls and enjoy as-is or with a slice of crusty bread!
