I tried making air fried mushrooms. They came out so deliciously crispy and good! No oil used except for basting. My family couldn't get enough.
Ingredients:
1 lb mushrooms (button or cremini)
2 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional: Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
Clean and prepare mushrooms: Clean mushrooms with a damp cloth or soft brush to remove any dirt. Trim stems and cut mushrooms into halves or quarters, depending on size.
Marinate: In a bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, dried thyme, paprika, salt and pepper. Add mushrooms to bowl and toss until well coated in marinade. Marinate for at least 15-20 minutes to allow flavors to infuse.
Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for a few minutes.
Air Fry: Place marinated mushrooms in air fryer basket, spreading them out in a single layer for even cooking. Cook for 12-15 minutes, shaking basket or tossing mushrooms halfway through to ensure even cooking.
Check for doneness: Mushrooms should be golden brown and crispy around the edges. Adjust cooking time if necessary.
Serve: Remove mushrooms from air fryer and transfer to a serving platter. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.
