2 large eggs
1 3/4 cups milk
1/4 cup melted butter

8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for cream cheese layer)
1 cup maple syrup
1 cup fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, or raspberries)
1/2 cup whipped cream (optional, for serving)

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
3. In another bowl, beat the eggs, then add the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
5. Pour half of the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly. Bake for 10 minutes.
6. While the first layer is baking, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract together until smooth.
7. After 10 minutes, remove the pancake layer from the oven. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the top.
8. Pour the remaining pancake batter over the cream cheese layer and return to the oven. Bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
