Christmas Cookie Lasagna
Ingredients:
- 2 cups crushed chocolate chip cookies
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
- 1 cup crushed peppermint candies
- 1 cup red and green sprinkles
- 1 cup crushed sugar cookies
Directions:
1. In a medium bowl, combine the crushed chocolate chip cookies and melted butter until the mixture resembles wet sand. Press this mixture evenly into the bottom of a 9x13 inch dish to form the base layer. Chill in the refrigerator while preparing the next layers.
2. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth and creamy.
3. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream with vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
4. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully combined.
5. Spread half of the cream cheese mixture over the cookie crust evenly. Sprinkle half of the mini chocolate chips, crushed peppermint candies, and red and green sprinkles on top.
6. Add a layer of crushed sugar cookies over the toppings, then spread the remaining cream cheese mixture evenly on top.
7. Finish by sprinkling the remaining mini chocolate chips, crushed peppermint candies, and sprinkles over the top layer.
8. Cover and refrigerate the lasagna for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to allow the flavors to meld and the layers to set.

Tips:
Use cold heavy cream for better whipping results and a fluffier texture.
