🇮🇹 Salsiccia e Friarielli (Sausage with Broccoli Rabe)
Neapolitan favorite with savory sausage and bitter greens.
Ingredients
Italian sausages: 4 (1 lb / 450 g)
Broccoli rabe (friarielli): 1 bunch, trimmed
Garlic: 2 cloves, sliced
Chili flakes: to taste
Olive oil: 2 tbsp
Salt: to taste
Instructions
1️⃣ Blanch broccoli rabe in boiling water for 3 minutes.
2️⃣ Drain and set aside.
3️⃣ In a pan, heat olive oil and sauté garlic and chili.
4️⃣ Add sausage and cook until browned.
5️⃣ Add broccoli rabe and sauté 5 more minutes.
6️⃣ Serve hot with crusty bread.
