Savory Corned Beef Melt
Ingredients:
1/4 cup sauerkraut, drained (a little tang for balance)
2 tablespoons Russian or Thousand Island dressing (the flavor booster!)
4 oz corned beef, sliced (the heart of this classic)
2 slices Swiss cheese (melty perfection)
2 slices of rye bread (bold, hearty, and oh-so-right)
1 tablespoon butter (for that golden, crispy crunch)
Directions:
Heat up your skillet or griddle over medium heat—let’s get sizzling!
Spread butter on one side of each slice of rye bread—be generous!
Place one slice, butter-side down, in the skillet and immediately top with Swiss cheese, followed by corned beef and sauerkraut.
Add another slice of Swiss cheese (because more cheese is always the answer).
Spread dressing on the remaining slice of bread, then place it dressing-side down on top.
Grill for 4-5 minutes per side, flipping carefully, until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is irresistibly gooey.
