Ingredients
• 1 box white cake mix (plus ingredients listed on the box)
• Food Coloring – Pink, Yellow, Blue, Purple
• Buttercream Frosting
• Mason Jars – Pint-sized

Instructions
1 Prepare the Cake Batter:
◦ Preheat oven according to the cake mix instructions.
◦ Prepare the cake batter as directed on the box.
2 Divide & Color the Batter:
◦ Split the batter into four equal portions in separate bowls.
◦ Add food coloring to each portion: pink, yellow, blue, and purple.
◦ Stir until the colors are evenly mixed.
3 Bake the Cake:
◦ Pour each colored batter into separate greased 9-inch round cake pans (or bake in batches if needed).
◦ Bake as directed on the box.
◦ Let the cakes cool completely before assembling.
4 Assemble in Jars:
◦ Crumble each cake color into large chunks.
◦ Start with one color layer at the bottom of a pint-sized mason jar.
◦ Add a thin layer of buttercream frosting on top.
◦ Repeat with the next color and continue layering until the jar is full.
5 Decorate & Serve:
