3-Ingredient Butter Cookies
Ingredients:
1 cup (225g) unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar
2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon vanilla (optional)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
Gradually add the flour, mixing until the dough comes together.
Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Flatten each ball with the back of a fork, creating a crisscross pattern.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
