🇫🇷 Canelés (Custard Cakes Canelés) ✨🍮
Caramelized on the outside, soft and custardy on the inside! These small French delights are a must-try! ❤️
Ingredients:
2 cups milk
1 cup sugar
1 cup flour
2 eggs
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup rum
Butter for greasing
Instructions:
Warm milk and butter together.
Whisk eggs, sugar, and vanilla, then mix in flour.
Slowly add warm milk and rum, whisking until smooth.
Chill batter for at least 12 hours.
Preheat oven to 230°C and grease canelé molds.
Fill molds 3/4 full and bake for 10 minutes, then reduce to 180°C and bake for 45 minutes.
Let cool before removing from molds.
