Easy- Homemade Tempura Mix
Recipe:
1 cup flour
1 cup cornstarch
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Mix everything and store in an airtight container up to 6 months.

To use:
1 cup tempura mix
1 egg
1/2 cup cold water
Mix well and ready to use as tempura batter.
Note: 1 cup mix is good for 1 pound of shrimp/squids or 4 cups slices of veggies

For Gluten-Free -Crispy Batter Mix

1/4 cup cornstarch
1 cup rice flour
1 tablespoon baking
powder
1 tsp sal
1/2 tsp black pepper
3/4 c water
For Spicy Mix:
Add 1 tsp of chili flakes 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
