One-Pan Creamy Meat & Potato Skillet

Ingredients:
• 1 pound ground meat (beef, turkey, chicken, or pork)
• 12 small potatoes, diced (or approx. 4 cups)
• 1 small onion, finely chopped
• 1–2 carrots, diced (optional)
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
• 1/2 teaspoon paprika
• 1 1/2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella works great)
• 1 cup milk or heavy cream
• 1 tablespoon flour or cornstarch (to thicken)
• 1 tablespoon butter or oil
• Fresh parsley or chives, chopped (for garnish)



Instructions:
1. Cook the meat:
In a large skillet, heat butter/oil over medium heat. Add ground meat and cook until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
2. Add veggies:
Stir in the chopped onion, garlic, potatoes, and carrots. Cook for about 5–7 minutes until they begin to soften.
3. Season:
Add salt, pepper, and paprika. Mix well to coat everything evenly.
4. Make it creamy:
In a small bowl, whisk the flour with the milk or cream until smooth. Pour over the skillet mixture.
5. Simmer:
Cover and cook on low heat for 10–15 minutes or until the potatoes are tender, stirring occasionally.
6. Add cheese:
Sprinkle cheese over the top, cover again, and let it melt for 2–3 minutes.
7. Garnish and serve:
Sprinkle with fresh parsley or chives and serve hot.
