Pecan Pie Dump Cake
Ingredients:
1 can (15 oz) pecan pie filling or 1 1/2 cups homemade pecan pie filling
1 box yellow cake mix
3 large eggs
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup whole pecans (for topping)
1/2 cup evaporated milk
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Pour the pecan pie filling into the bottom of the dish and spread evenly.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together dry cake mix, eggs, evaporated milk, and melted butter until well combined.
Pour the batter over the pecan filling and gently spread it out.
Sprinkle chopped pecans over the top, then arrange whole pecans for presentation.
Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out mostly clean.
Let cool slightly before serving warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream if desired.
