Cajun Honey Butter Salmon Bites Over Cheesy Creamy Linguine
Ingredients:
4 salmon fillets, cut into bite-sized pieces
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon butter
Salt and pepper to taste
12 oz linguine pasta
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
Prepare the Salmon Bites: In a bowl, toss the salmon pieces with Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned salmon bites and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Once the salmon is cooked, remove it from the skillet and set aside.
Make the Honey Butter Sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add honey and stir, allowing the sauce to bubble and thicken for about 2-3 minutes. Return the cooked salmon bites to the skillet and toss them in the honey butter sauce for another minute. Remove from heat.
Cook the Pasta: While the salmon is cooking, bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Prepare the Creamy Sauce: In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the sauce begins to thicken. Add the Parmesan and mozzarella cheese, stirring until melted and the sauce is smooth.
Combine and Serve: Add the cooked linguine to the skillet with the creamy sauce, tossing to coat the pasta evenly. Gently fold in the Cajun honey butter salmon bites. Serve hot, garnished with freshly chopped parsley.
