MOM'S COLESLAW
1/2 cup real mayonnaise
1/3 cup white sugar
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup buttermilk
2 1/2 Tbsp.lemon juice
2 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
salt & pepper to taste
2 cups green cabbage, shredded
1/2 cup red cabbage, shredded
1/2 cup carrots, shredded
2 Tbsp. white onion, minced
2 Tbsp. green onion tops, chopped
Mix mayonnaise, sugar, milk, buttermilk, lemon juice, vinegar, salt, and pepper together in a bowl until smooth. Set aside. In a large mixing bowl toss together green and red cabbage, carrots, white onion, and green onion. Pour mayonnaise mixture over top and stir until well combined. Chill for 1 hour before serving.
