Spinach Garlic Meatballs Stuffed with Mozzarella

Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef or ground chicken
1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 egg
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup mozzarella cheese, cubed
Olive oil for cooking
Marinara sauce for serving

Directions:
In a large bowl, combine the ground meat, chopped spinach, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Take a small portion of the meat mixture and flatten it in your palm. Place a cube of mozzarella in the center and wrap the meat around it, forming a ball. Repeat this process until all the mixture is used.

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.

Transfer the browned meatballs to a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until cooked through.

Serve the meatballs with warm marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
