🇮🇹 Brasato al Barolo (Braised Beef in Wine)
🍷 Tender beef slow-cooked in Barolo wine with herbs and vegetables—an Italian comfort dish at its finest.
Ingredients:
• 1 kg beef roast (chuck or brisket)
• 750 ml Barolo wine (or other dry red wine)
• 2 onions, sliced
• 2 carrots, chopped
• 2 celery stalks, chopped
•2 garlic cloves
• 2 sprigs rosemary
• Olive oil
• Salt and pepper
Instructions:
💤 Marinate beef overnight in wine with onions, carrots, celery, garlic, and herbs.
🔥 Remove and sear the beef in olive oil until browned.
🥘 Add back vegetables and marinade, cover the pot.
🕰️ Simmer on low heat for 3 hours, turning occasionally.
🍽️ Slice and serve with the rich, reduced sauce.
