Crockpot Steak Bites and Pasta in Cheesy Cream Sauce

Ingredients:

2 lbs (900g) sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
1/4 cup beef broth
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons butter, cut into small pieces
12 oz rotini pasta (or your favorite pasta)
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon Cajun seasoning (optional, for extra kick)
1/4 cup reserved pasta water
Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish (optional)

Directions:

Place the cubed sirloin steak into the crockpot.
In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, onion powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper.
Pour the sauce mixture over the steak bites in the crockpot, tossing to coat well.
Scatter the butter pieces over the top.
Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours until the steak bites are juicy and tender.
About 20 minutes before the steak is done, cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain, reserving 1/4 cup pasta water.
In a large skillet over medium heat, combine heavy cream, mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic powder, and Cajun seasoning. Stir until smooth and creamy.
Add the cooked pasta and reserved pasta water to the sauce, tossing to coat.
Gently fold in the tender steak bites from the crockpot.
Sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
