Homemade Japanese Clear Mushroom Soup
Light, savory, and deeply comforting—perfect as a starter or a cozy bowl on its own.
Ingredients
32 oz bone broth (chicken or vegetable)
1–2 tsp sesame oil
Pinch of garlic powder
Pinch of ground ginger
1 cup mushrooms, thinly sliced
2–3 green onions, sliced
Instructions
Heat the broth: Pour bone broth into a pot and bring to a boil.
Season: Stir in sesame oil, garlic powder, and ginger. Reduce to a gentle simmer.
Add veggies: Toss in the sliced mushrooms and green onions. Let simmer for 5–7 minutes, until mushrooms are tender.
Serve: Ladle into bowls and enjoy hot.
