Apple Bundt Cake Recipe
Ingredients:
3 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups sugar
1 cup vegetable oil (or melted butter)
3 large eggs
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp nutmeg
½ tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla extract
3 cups peeled & chopped apples (tart apples like Granny Smith or Honeycrisp work best)
1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
Optional glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar
2–3 Tbsp milk or apple cider
½ tsp vanilla
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a bundt pan.
2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
3. In another bowl, beat sugar, oil, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
4. Gradually mix the wet ingredients into the dry.
5. Fold in chopped apples and nuts. Batter will be thick.
6. Pour into the prepared bundt pan and spread evenly.
7. Bake for 55–65 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
8. Cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack.
9. If desired, whisk glaze ingredients together and drizzle over cooled cake.
