Million Dollar Italian Lasagna 🇮🇹💰
🛒 Ingredients:
9 lasagna noodles, cooked and drained
1 lb ground beef
1 jar (24 oz) marinara or pasta sauce
1 cup cottage cheese
1 cup ricotta cheese
1 pkg (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1 egg
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup grated parmesan cheese
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp Italian seasoning
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
👩🍳 Directions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a skillet, brown the ground beef. Drain any fat, then stir in marinara sauce, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Let it simmer for 5 minutes.
In a bowl, mix cottage cheese, ricotta, cream cheese, egg, and half of the parmesan cheese until smooth.
In a greased 9x13-inch baking dish, layer:
3 lasagna noodles
Half the cheese mixture
Half the meat sauce
⅓ of the mozzarella cheese
Repeat the layers once more. Finish with remaining noodles, meat sauce, and top with mozzarella and the rest of the parmesan.
Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
Uncover and bake another 10–15 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
Let rest 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with parsley if desired and enjoy!
