Strawberry shortcake trifile dessert! 😋
1-2 containers of fresh strawberries
1 quart of heavy whipping cream
1 box of pound cake (16oz box)
One box of vanilla pudding (5oz box)
1 tsp vanilla
Preheat oven to 350. Prepare pound cake according to box directions and bake until done. Let cool and cut up into pieces. Wash and cut up strawberries, set aside. Whip together the heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form, add one cup of powdered sugar and 1tsp of vanilla and fold in. Prepare pudding according to package directions. Take your trifle bowl and layer cake in the bottom, add pudding, whipped cream and strawberries, then repeat that step. Put in refrigerator until set and keep refrigerated after serving. Favorite dessert in my household.
