🇮🇹 Italian Timballo di Maccheroni
Layered baked macaroni with rich meat sauce and melty cheese—like lasagna’s rustic cousin!
Ingredients:
• 12 oz macaroni
• 1 cup meat sauce (ground beef, tomato sauce, onions)
• 1/2 cup mozzarella, shredded
• 2 tbsp grated Parmesan
• 1 egg (optional, for binding)
Instructions:
1. 🍝 Cook macaroni until al dente and toss with a little oil.
2. 🥘 Layer pasta, meat sauce, and cheeses in a greased baking dish.
3. 🔥 Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 25–30 min until golden and set.
4. 🧀 Rest 10 mins before slicing—serve warm and gooey!
