Honey garlic shrimp, sausage, and broccoli:
Ingredients:
• 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
• 1 pound smoked sausage (such as kielbasa), sliced into rounds
• 2 cups broccoli florets
• 3 tablespoons honey
• 3 tablespoons soy sauce
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• 4 cloves garlic, minced
• Salt and pepper to taste
• Red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
• Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish, optional)
Instructions:
Prepare the Sauce:
In a small bowl, mix together the honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic. Set aside.
Cook the Sausage:
In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat.
Add the sliced sausage and cook for about 5-7 minutes or until browned and heated through. Remove the sausage from the skillet and set aside.
Cook the Broccoli:
In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil if needed.
Add the broccoli florets, and sauté for about 4-5 minutes until tender and bright green. You can add a splash of water to steam the broccoli slightly if desired. Remove and set aside with the sausage.
Cook the Shrimp:
In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil.
Add the shrimp and season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using. Cook for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until the shrimp are pink and opaque.
Combine Ingredients:
Return the sausage and broccoli to the skillet with the cooked shrimp.
Pour the honey garlic sauce over the mixture and toss everything together, cooking for another 1-2 minutes until heated through and well-coated
