RED VELVET OREO BROWNIES

Ingredients

For the Brownie Base:

½ cup unsalted butter (melted)

1 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tbsp red food coloring

⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

¾ cup all-purpose flour

¼ tsp salt

For the Cream Cheese Topping:

4 oz cream cheese (softened)

2 tbsp unsalted butter (softened)

1 cup powdered sugar

½ tsp vanilla extract

Mix-ins & Toppings:

8–10 Oreo cookies (crushed)

Extra whole Oreos for topping

Red velvet crumbs (optional for garnish)

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line an 8x8 inch pan with parchment.

2. Make the brownie batter:

In a bowl, whisk melted butter and sugar until smooth.

Add eggs, vanilla, and food coloring. Mix well.

Sift in cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Mix until just combined.

Gently fold in crushed Oreos (leave some for topping).

3. Spread batter evenly into prepared pan.

4. Make cream cheese layer:

Beat cream cheese and butter until smooth and fluffy.

Add powdered sugar and vanilla, and mix until creamy.

5. Swirl topping:

Drop spoonfuls of cream cheese mixture over the brownie batter.

Use a knife to gently swirl the cream cheese into the batter.

6. Top with Oreos (whole or halved) and a sprinkle of red velvet crumbs.

7. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out mostly clean (a few moist crumbs are okay).

8. Cool completely before slicing into squares.
