Creamy Parmesan Penne Pasta with Garlic Butter Chicken Bites

Ingredients:

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
12 oz penne pasta
4 tbsp unsalted butter
5 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
½ cup chicken broth
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp olive oil (for cooking chicken)
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Directions:

Start by cooking the penne pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set it aside for later.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken pieces, season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook for 6-8 minutes until the chicken is browned and fully cooked. Set it aside.
In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes, just until it's fragrant.
Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream. Stir everything together, bringing it to a simmer for 3-4 minutes to let the sauce thicken.
Add the Parmesan cheese, stirring until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
Stir the cooked chicken back into the skillet, and then toss in the cooked penne pasta. Stir everything until the pasta is fully coated with the creamy sauce.
Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve immediately!
