Gluten-Free Chickpea Almond Bread: Bake Your Own Healthy & Flavorful Loaf!
Ingredients:
- 1 cup chickpea flour (120g)
- 1 cup almond flour (120g)
- 1/2 cup tapioca starch or arrowroot starch (60g)
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 3/4 cups plant-based milk (420ml)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup or agave
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease and line a loaf pan (9x5 inch) with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, whisk together chickpea flour, almond flour, tapioca starch, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
3. In a separate bowl, whisk together plant-based milk, olive oil, maple syrup, and apple cider vinegar.
4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread evenly.
6. Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
7. Let cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
