Ingredients:
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 tablespoon white vinegar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup water
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8-inch square baking pan.
In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder.
Make three wells in the dry ingredients. In one well, add vinegar; in the second, add oil; and in the third, add vanilla extract.
Pour water over the entire mixture and stir until smooth.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Let cool before serving.
