Parmesan Baked Potatoes
Ingredients:
6 medium-sized potatoes (Russet or Yukon Gold work well)
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
Salt and black pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
Step 1: Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
Step 2: Prepare the Potatoes
Wash and dry the potatoes. Cut them in half lengthwise.
Using a knife, score the cut side of each potato in a crisscross pattern, being careful not to cut all the way through.
Step 3: Season the Potatoes
In a small bowl, mix the Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Pour the olive oil onto the baking sheet and sprinkle the Parmesan mixture evenly over the oil.
Step 4: Arrange and Bake
Place the potatoes cut-side down onto the Parmesan mixture, pressing them slightly to adhere the seasoning.
Bake in the preheated oven for 35–40 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the Parmesan crust is golden brown and crispy.
Step 5: Serve
Remove the potatoes from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.
Use a spatula to carefully lift the potatoes, keeping the Parmesan crust intact.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
