The Ultimate Chocolate Cake 🍫❤️
Ingredients
🔹 For the Cake:
• 1½ cups all-purpose flour
• 2 cups sugar
• ½ cup cocoa powder
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• ½ teaspoon salt
• 2 eggs
• ½ cup butter, softened
• 1 cup milk
• 1 cup black coffee
• ½ cup vegetable oil
🔹 For the Frosting:
• ½ cup unsalted butter
• 2 cups powdered sugar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 cup heavy whipping cream
• 1 cup melted chocolate chips
Instructions
1️⃣ Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare two 8-inch round cake pans by greasing and flouring them.
2️⃣ In a bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
3️⃣ In a separate bowl, cream together butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well. Stir in milk, coffee, and oil until fully incorporated.
4️⃣ Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing on low speed until smooth.
5️⃣ Divide the batter evenly between the cake pans and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
6️⃣ For the frosting: Beat butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla until fluffy. Pour in whipping cream and beat for 5 minutes.
7️⃣ Fold in the melted chocolate chips and continue beating until smooth and creamy.
8️⃣ Assemble the cake by frosting the first layer, placing the second on top, and spreading frosting evenly over the entire cake. Decorate as desired and enjoy!
