Instructions
Prepare the Filling
In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth and creamy. Stir in the finely chopped strawberries until evenly incorporated.

Assemble the Wonton Bites
Lay a wonton wrapper flat on a clean surface. Spoon about a tablespoon of the strawberry cheesecake filling into the center of each wrapper. Wet the edges with a little water or beaten egg, then fold the wrapper into a triangle or rectangle, sealing the edges tightly.

Heat the Oil
Heat vegetable oil in a large pan or deep fryer to 350Β°F (175Β°C). The oil should be hot enough to crisp up the wontons quickly, but not so hot that they burn.

Fry the Wontons
