Mom’s Go-To Recipe (Busy Night Beef Skillet)
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can diced tomatoes (14 oz)
1 cup elbow macaroni (uncooked)
1 ½ cups beef broth
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Directions:
In a large skillet, brown the ground beef with onion and garlic. Drain excess fat.
Add tomatoes, macaroni, beef broth, seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 12–15 minutes or until pasta is cooked.
Sprinkle cheese on top and cover again until melted.
