Creamy Garlic Chicken Breasts
Ingredients:
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
Prep the Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Cook the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 5-7 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and golden brown on both sides. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
Make the Cream Sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
Add Cream and Broth: Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth. Stir to combine and let the sauce simmer for 3-5 minutes, until it thickens.
Add Parmesan: Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Finish the Dish: Return the chicken breasts to the skillet and spoon the creamy sauce over the top. Let it simmer for another 3-4 minutes.
Serve: Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve hot, ideally with mashed potatoes or vegetables.
Enjoy your creamy garlic chicken!
