🧂 Ingredients:
For the Cake:
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
4 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 1/2 cups fresh raspberries (plus extra for decorating)
For the Frosting:
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
3–3 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1–2 tablespoons heavy cream (as needed for consistency)

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line two 8-inch round cake pans.
In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
In another large bowl, beat butter, cream cheese, and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each. Mix in vanilla extract.
Gradually add dry ingredients, alternating with buttermilk, beginning and ending with dry ingredients.
Gently fold in raspberries with a spatula.
Divide batter between pans and smooth the tops.
Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool completely.
For the frosting, beat cream cheese and butter until creamy. Gradually add powdered sugar, then vanilla, and a little cream if needed.
Frost the cooled cakes, stacking one over the other, and decorate with extra raspberries.
